Mushroom's album was a landmark release in Ireland. It came out in time for Christmas 1973 and the band toured to promote it with the recently reformed Emmet Spiceland in support. The LP sold very well locally. Plans to release it in the UK through a major label never came to pass, though it did emerge in Canada in 1975 thanks to Hawk Records relationship with the Toronto based Boot label. The rest are all inferior, the Akarma being the best of a bad bunch. ACME vinyl single bonus tracks: The King of Ireland's Daughter Kings and Queens Met a Friend Unborn Child (demo) Devil Among the Tailors. Notes: Recorded, mixed and re-mixed at Eamonn Andrews Studios, Dublin and Air Studios, London. Produced by Martyn Ford.

The King Of Ireland's Daughter (?) 14. Kings And Queens (?) 15. Met A Friend (?) Line-up, Musicians. The album begins with an alarm clock wake-up call, leading into Early One Morning, a gentle acoustic song about waking up to find a lover has gone. A gentle enough start, but The Liothdon soon bangs in with an electrified up tempo reel/jig partly played on a keyboard with a distorted bass, heavily distorted rock guitar solos and lifts provided by key changes, a total assault on the senses. Drowsey Maggie is another energetic rock-a-jig led by the fiddle, though the improvisational guitar solo doesn't quite come off. One by one the instruments drop out, leaving just an insistant solo fiddle before the band return for a rousing finale and some audience applause.
