I always thought we would last forever until summer was over. Now, eleven years later, I realize what happened then was only the start. As it turns out, Tom has been doing great for the past eleven years. Apparently, he had designed numerous of the most attractive and most durable buildings in Boston. He had even stretched his talents to Seattle and San Francisco. Good for him then, I thought. I knew he'd always wanted to be a successful contractor. My mind was muddled and cloudy as Landon came to pick me up at the end of the day. I had scheduled to begin working on the project with Tom tomorrow morning.
