Album East Side Militia. Electric Molecular Lyrics. First it seemed electrical, another way to stimulate Chaos-on-chaos, collapsing more every day Next the wires disrupting, molecules exploding, combined in acid corroding Cannot block the signal from the battery to the brain Cannot block the poison from the trigger to the vein Cannot stop the impact in the breakdown lane Spinning off the axis, madness burning brighter every day.
Its original title was supposed to be "Jesus Christ Porno Star" (which instead became the name of the second track of the album). Originally released on October 8, 1996, it was re-released on November 30, 1999 with two additional songs, "Vera Blue" remixed by PIG and "Exile" on Mainline remixed by Haloblack.

Chemlab (an outfit with a changing membership that has revolved around vocalist/lyricist Jared Louche and programmer Dylan Thomas More) prefigured the aggressive electronica sound that would later be popularized by bands like Prodigy and, to some degree, Nine Inch Nails. This digitally remastered reissue of the band's 1996 swan song shows them to have been sonically prescient but a bit too nihilistic and vulgar for prime time
