Live at the Union Chapel is the second live album by Procol Harum, released in 2004. It was the last Procol Harum album to feature Matthew Fisher on organ and the last time Procol Harum recorded "A Whiter Shade of Pale" with 3 verses (previous albums and single releases only contained 2 verses). It was recorded live at the Union Chapel, Islington, London. All tracks composed by Gary Brooker and Keith Reid; except where indicated.

This DVD was recorded live at the Union Chapel in Islington, North London, on 12 December 2003. Setlist here: of the items that couldn't be accommodated on the DVD, two – Wizard Man and Beyond the Pale – can be found on the band's last concert DVD, Live in Copenhagen, from their 2001 tour: also lost are, idiosyncratically enough, the National Anthem and Swing Low Sweet Chariot, the latter semaphored with schoolboy vulgarities! Procol Harum - Live at the Union Chapel (DVD, 2004). Only for completionists (0%). Seldom played Captain Clack is just as weird as it was on the debut album. The only remark I have is that Procol wins by playing safely but triumphs without much glory: two Harum monuments were unfortunately shunned: Whaling Stories and In Twas Held In I. Too bad for that fifth star.

Live at Union Chapel catches Procol Harum playing some of the best songs of their nearly 40-year career. There are songs from nearly every album except Prodigal Stranger and Something Magic, but the largest number come from their latest CD The Well's On Fire.

Old timers who started with the band in 1967 and younger folks discovering Procol Harum for the first time will be equally impressed with this superb document that does justice to a legendary band.
