Richard Stephenson (born 5 December 1966), better known as Richie Stephens is a Jamaican R&B, dancehall and reggae singer and producer. Born in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica, Stephens worked in the early 1990s as part of the twice Grammy Award winning act Soul II Soul. He recorded at Motown, and recorded for the VP label before establishing his own label, Pot of Gold Records. Later that decade he released dancehall singles such as "Winner", "Bus the Place" and "Slop Dem".

Scars on Broadway is the first studio album by Scars on Broadway, a band consisting of System of a Down members Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan. The album contains fifteen tracks, all written by Malakian. The album opened at on the Billboard 200 with 24,000 copies.

After having released five albums including Broadway (1990), Richie Stephens and Sincerely (1991), Pot Of Gold (Motown 1993), Forever (1993) and Miracles (1995), it was the Greensleeves label that put out his sixth album, The Winner, in 1998. The album contained some of his biggest dancehall oriented hits and brought him to a wider audience. In 2012 he drew notable attention with the release of the album Live Your Life, done in collaboration with German reggae star and longtime friend Gentleman
