Providing England with their revival of the 1960s, the trio released a number of EPs on various labels before Alopecia Records funded their 1997 debut album, The Surfisticated Sounds of the Waistcoats. Cassadaga is the seventh studio album by Bright Eyes, released in the UK on April 9, 2007 and in the US on April 10. Around 25 to 30 songs were recorded in 2006, with 13 of these appearing on the final track list. The album is named after the town of Cassadaga, Florida, a community of mediums and followers of spiritualism. Z Berg of the Like, Sherri DuPree and Stacy King of Eisley as well as solo artist Rachael Yamagata all appear on this album
Cat's Eyes is the self-titled debut album by London-based alternative pop duo Cat's Eyes, released on April 11, 2011 on the Polydor record label. The album featured the songs "Cat's Eyes" and "The Best Person I Know", which previously appeared on the group's Broken Glass EP, along with eight other tracks including "The Lull" (which the band noted was the first song they wrote for the project).
