Cream is a dairy product composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk before homogenization. In many countries, it is sold in several grades depending on the total butterfat content. It can be dried to a powder for shipment to distant markets, and contains high levels of saturated fat.

Cream is not only one of the greatest rock supergroups of all time (as well as one of the first), but one of the best classic rock bands of all time as well. Here is Ranker's list of the best Cream albums, ranked from best to worst. The British band formed in 1966, mixing an appreciation for American blues music with a hard rock edge and a dose of psychedelic sound.

Cream's cover from their debut album loses none of the menace. Like their takes on other blues classics found on our list of the Top 10 Cream Songs, their version of "Spoonful" remains pretty faithful to the original. Also check out the 16-minute live version from Wheels of Fire to hear Cream at their most epic. From: 'Fresh Cream' (1966). I Feel Free" kicked off the . version of Cream's debut album, Fresh Cream. In their native England, the song was their second single and their first to reach the Top 15. It works both ways, with its bouncy pop-like refrain yielding to a buzzing Clapton guitar solo that takes blooming psychedelia for a bluesy spin.

Cream was a 1960s British rock band consisting of bassist/vocalist Jack Bruce, guitarist vocalist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker. They were celebrated as the first great power trio and supergroup of rock. Featuring a hybrid of blues, pop, and psychedelic rock, Cream combined Clapton's virtuoso blues guitar playing with the voice and bass lines of Bruce and the jazz-influenced drumming of Ginger Baker to create a unique, hybrid style that became highly influential on the musicians of their generation. The band has sold over 35 million albums worldwide
