Resurrection" is the second single from rapper Common's 1994 album Resurrection. Its piano-led beat, produced by No . contains samples from "The Signs Pt. II" by David Axelrod, "Dolphin Dance" by Ahmad Jamal, "Sorcerer of Isis" by Power of Zeus, "Ice" by Spirit and both "Why Can't People Be Colors Too?" and "Help Is on the Way" by The Whatnauts. The song contains free-associative lyrics by Common and scratches by DJ Sinister that "blend harmoniously with the jazzy melody.

Reserection is an extended play (EP) by English alternative dance band Saint Etienne and French singer Étienne Daho, under the collective name St. Etienne Daho. It was released on 29 September 1995 by Virgin Records. The title is an amalgamation of the words "résurrection" and "érection". Daho's speech from "Reserection" is also reprised within the song. Daho only released "Jungle Pulse" as a single at first, but later Eurodance producer Steve Rodway produced a remix of "Accident" that became "He's on the Phone", released as the single from Saint Etienne's first greatest hits compilation, Too Young to Die: Singles 1990–1995

Originally, it was rated . mics in The Source; however, in 1998, it was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums.
