The title is a reference to a biblical quote from acts 9, verse 5 from Acts of the Apostles: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. My favourite songs are Sleeping Annaleah which is a cover from Mickey Newbury and Dan Folger, All Tomorrows Parties a cover from Lou Reed and Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart which is a cover from Roger Greenaway and Roger Cook. Roger Taylor (Queen drummer). In 1998, Taylor released his fourth solo album Electric Fire. He supported it with a small tour in the spring of 1999, on which Brian May joined him at the gig in Wolverhampton . The band promoted hard (especially in Germany), with many TV performances of singles including an appearance at the Montreux Golden Rose festival in 1988. The tour took in dates in the UK and Germany. Three singles were released from the album: "Cowboys and Indians", "Heaven for Everyone" and "Shove It".

He has also had a successful recording career in his own right. He is best known for his collaborations with Roger Greenaway. In 1992 he joined former Stranglers member Hugh Cornwell and guitarist Andy West to release an album, CCW. Later he turned to writing for the stage and he has worked on two musicals, Beautiful and Damned, based on the lives of Jazz Age author F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda, in collaboration with Les Reed; and Don't You Rock Me.
