Trans-Global African Funk Grooves. No Go Die! says exactly what this album wants to prove: Three years after the death of Afro-beat pioneer Fela Kuti, the movement he started is alive and well. The term was coined in the 1960s by Nigerian t and bandleader Fela Kuti, who is responsible for pioneering and popularizing the style both within and outside Nigeria.
