Martin Lee Gore (born July 23, 1961 in Dagenham, Essex, England) is a member of the band Depeche Mode since it's inception in 1980. He is the primary songwriter, and also plays keyboards and guitar. He is also the backing vocalist, and sometimes the lead singer.

Martin Lee Gore is an English songwriter, keyboardist, guitarist, singer, record producer, remixer, and DJ. He is one of the founding members of the synth-pop band Depeche Mode and is its primary songwriter  . In 2010, Tim Simenon's Bomb the Bass album Back to Light was published, which contains the instrumental "Milakia", co-written by Martin Gore during the Ultra sessions. Gore also played synthesiser on the track. Compact Space's album Nameless (2011) includes the track "The Unstoppable Collision" with Gore on guitar.
