The Peregrine Way is the first full-length album by the power metal/progressive metal band by Viathyn. It was released physically and digitally in 2010. All tracks written by Viathyn, lyrics by Jacob Wright & Tomislav Crnkovic. Tomislav Crnkovic – vocals, lead and rhythm guitars, acoustic guitars. David Crnkovic – drums, keyboards. Jacob Wright – lead and rhythm guitars, acoustic guitars. Alex Kot – bass, acoustic guitars. Sacha Laskow - guest guitar solo in Sirenum Scopuli.
With the skill set of Viathyn, i'm not sure they could have pushed this record any further. It all fits so well, and is absorbed by the album quickly. It is one deep song, and holds it's own well. Around the 3:55, about the time when most band would cut the song off and run for cover, Viathyn pulls out another acoustic outro with a solo to boot. This is without a doubt a standout track, and is the heart and soul of this record. 10)The Antique Man: Here's another song that wastes no time turning on the amps after 8 minutes of acoustic playing.

Viathyn formed in 2006 as a three-piece, with Jacob and Tomislav on guitars and Dave on Drums a means for attracting a full line-up. Alex joined in 2009 on bass and Tomislav took up vocal duties. In August 2010, we released our first album 'The Peregrine Way' which follows along the journey of an unnamed wandering man, through the highs and lows of his life.
The Peregrine Way(2010-2012). The four band members began to work together on their first full-length album. It was recorded, mixed & engineered by Tomislav Crnkovic at Bard’s Tavern Studio, and mastered by Sacha Laskow at Walk as Chaos Studio. The album follows along the journey of an unnamed wandering man, through the highs and lows of his life. Viathyn released their second album Cynosure in October 2014, which features the addition of 7-string guitars. It was recorded between 2012 and 2014 at Perfect Fifth studios aided once again by engineering of Tomislav. Similar to the previous album, it was mixed and mastered by friend Sacha Laskow. The name 'Cynosure' means 'focal point', 'guiding light', or 'source of inspiration'.
