And Blood Lust for me was the best album release in 2011. Reply See 1 reply 1 Helpful.
Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats (written as Uncle Acid and the deadbeats or simply Uncle Acid) are an English rock band, formed in Cambridge, England, by Kevin Starrs. The band have released five albums, the most recent, Wasteland having been released in October 2018, as well as a number of singles. The band appears regularly at festivals around Europe. The band's music is heavily influenced by the late 1960s when heavy metal was emerging.

The basic clue of Blood Lust is the inspiration of the three musicians, who are not based only on the heritage of Black Sabbath, but they step on it and they create a personal sound at the same time. They bring in light of 2011 all the atmosphere of the '70s, beside they are not the only band doing that the last months, but in no case they overdo it, so to be boring in your ears

Instead, I’m writing about a UK band named Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. If I were more deeply ensconced in the world of stoner doom, and even more precisely, the world of throwback, acid-dropping, occult, garage-band horror/rock, I would have known about this band before yesterday. But I’m not and I didn’t. I simply intended to listen to a song or two out of curiosity, because Metal Blade is giving the band’s 2011 album Blood Lust its first big-scale release in advance of a new album due next spring.
All-in-all, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats have a remarkably solid debut album in Blood Lust, and debuts like this don't come around all that often. Initially, I didn't particularly care for this album and found it mediocre, but something in it drew me back in again and again, and each time I listen to it I love it a little more. In reference to the title, I read in an interview with Uncle Acid (and as of 2015.
