Lou Reed is the debut solo studio album by American musician Lou Reed, released in April 1972 by RCA Records, two years after he left the Velvet Underground.
Bonnie Lou's three major country and pop hits, "Seven Lonely Days," "Tennessee Wig Walk" and "Daddy-O," are collected on this superbly packaged CD with 23 of her other King recordings from the 1950s, including a couple of alternate takes. Bonnie Lou's music began as pop-oriented country with double-tracked vocals and later incorporated more and more R&B and rock & roll flourishes, until by the late '50s she was recording teen novelties such as "Little Miss Bobby Sox" and "Teenage Wedding.
