The Incredible String Band (sometimes abbreviated as ISB) were a British psychedelic folk band formed by Clive Palmer, Robin Williamson and Mike Heron in Edinburgh in 1966. The band built a considerable following, especially in the British counterculture, notably with their albums The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion, The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter, and Wee Tam and the Big Huge

The Incredible String Band. This album was originally issued in the Incredible String Band's native Britain as the first in a two-LP collection with a companion disc entitled The Big Huge. However, stateside distributor Elektra Records decided to present them as two separate works. This version of the ISB includes founding members Robin Williamson (organ, bass, flute, guitar, percussion, piano, violin, drums, harpsichord, kazoo, whistle, sarangui, gimbri, and Irish harp) and Mike Heron (organ, bass, guitar, harmonica, harpsichord, sitar, and washboard) as well as their significant.

Renews automatically. The sense with which the two titles can be combined as & Big Huge Wee Tam' is one small sign of how these two albums were always supposed to be seen as a single work, in much the same way as Dylan's & on Blond' and the Beatles' & album' are two phonographs in a single album

Wee Tam is a music studio album recording by THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND (Prog Folk/Progressive Rock) released in 1968 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Originally released as a double album Wee Tam & The Big Huge for some reasons gets commercialized as two separate Cds, the first called Wee Tam and the next being The Big Huge. Again the Boyd/Elektra connection is present, the pastoral setting of artwork (both albums photos taken from the same shoot (same clothes) and the group was at its apex. The original UK cover of the album, showing Clive Palmer, Robin Williamson, and Mike Heron. Studio album by The Incredible String Band. The album was released in Britain in June 1966, and in the USA the same year. The original LP sleeve used in the UK featured a photograph of the band holding up obscure musical instruments in Boyd's office in London
