EXHIBIT A is a Neo-Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United Kingdom. Exhibit A biography EXHIBIT A's history got started in 1986. The roots of EXHIBIT A lay in a band called Mithra, formed in Essex, UK around 1984 by Steve WATTS (bass), Nick HAMPSON (guitar), Barrie CANNON (drums), Steve CABLE (guitar) and Billie JAMES (voices).

Watching from a Distance is an album that came about at the right time. The music in itself is nothing worth noting, it's bland, unimaginative and dry yet for some reason people can't get enough of it. It's something that will always astound me no matter how many listens I give it to try and immerse myself in the experience. I suppose it's not the bands fault, really, I highly doubt the critical acclaim would go through the roof when they released it. So I can't really fault them for the reputation they've built themselves. Watching from a Distance tries to come across as painfully earnest and inspired, yet the sheer desperation of it all causes the music to completely annihilate itself. The music is just so sad that it goes completely past the point of being tastefully atmospheric and emotional to devolve into realms of whining self pity and teenage angst.

Exhibit A. Exodus' main goal while recording Atrocity, it seems, was to create an album that was as lyrically (and occasionaly musically) sinister, critical and irritated as Tempo, while retaining as much speed and musical aggression from SHKM as possible. Now, they did fuse the styles, but whether they did so successfully is up for debate. Atrocity, as it shall be called from here on out, is a pretty good album. But both Tempo and SHKM were great albums. So Atrocity is both a good album and a decrease in quality at the same time.
