Calendar Girl is an LP album by Julie London, released by Liberty Records under catalog number SL-9002 in 1956. In keeping with the title, each of the first twelve tracks had a month in its title, completing the album with a song entitled "Thirteenth Month". Two of the songs were composed especially for this album by London's future husband, Bobby Troup, who also produced the album, as he did many of her albums. Julie London – vocals. Dick Nash - trombone. Al Hendrickson - guitar.

Love letters straight from your heart Keep us so near while apart I'm not alone in the night When I can have all the love you write. I memorize every line And I kiss the name that you sign And, darling, then I read again right from the start Love letters straight from your heart. And, darling, then I read again right from the start Love letters straight from your heart.
Every Julie London album before Love Letters has something to recommend it for fans of vocal pop and jazz or lounge music, but this 1962 release is for London completists only. Love Letters isn't a bad album, but it is a dull one, with boring orchestral charts and a track listing that seems thrown together. The only interesting item may be London transforming the Rosemary Clooney ethnic dialect joke and novelty hit "Come on-a My House" into a sensual invitation. Liberty Records even dropped the ball on the cover by using a pencil drawing of the sexy singer rather than the usual.

As a jazz pianist and vocalist myself who had met Julie London and Bobby Troup as well as performed with several Julie's musicians including Al Viola. Julie called this album herself "shlock". She was forced by contract to mold to current bubble gum pop tastes and started to move further away from the winning concept formula of her earlier cool jazz and bluesy albums
