This EP was sort of the follow up to "100% No Soul" and the Bloody Fist sampler - two huge (and influential) releases. This EP isn't as famous but is a great encapsulation of the different aspects of Nasenbluten's sound. Race Against Time starts with a menacing intro, complete with vinyl crackle, building tension for a while before the snares and the inevitable kickdrum arrives. The main breakdown is taken from an old jungle tune on Whitehouse, based on the film Candyman, accompanied by a classic Public Enemy sample.

The Reggiane R. 003 was a development from the Reggiane R. 002 fighter bomber that first flew on 29 June 1941. It was designed to replace the outdated IMAM R. 7 used at the time. Unlike the Reggaine R. 002, it had room for a second crewman who sat behind the pilot. It was equipped with onboard camera equipment. The Fiat . 4 R. 8 engine was intended to be used originally, but the Piaggio P. XI RC 40 Bis was chosen instead.

The track was a live favourite early in their career, with the band playing the track in 1997, before the album was released. It’s an incredibly fast-paced track with lyrics spat by a jealous, aggressive lover, tempered by their realisation that the object of their ire is, simply, bigger than them.
