Derek and the Dominos were an English–American blues-rock band formed in the spring of 1970 by guitarist and singer Eric Clapton, keyboardist and singer Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle and drummer Jim Gordon. All four members had previously played together in Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, during and after Clapton's brief tenure with Blind Faith

Derek and the Dominos were a blues rock band formed in the spring of 1970 by guitarist and singer Eric Clapton, keyboardist and singer Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle and drummer Jim Gordon. They had previously played together in Delaney & Bonnie and Friends. Dave Mason supplied additional lead guitar on early studio sessions and played at their first live gig.

Unravelling the ‘Derek And The Dominos In Concert’ album and its subsequent incarnations, culled from different shows, is a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle. It entered the Billboard album chart on 27 January 1973, where it reached N. 0, but could only manage a disappointing No. 36 in the UK, in its one week on the survey on 24 March.
