Ricci-Glory of Cremona recording. By GMM22, January 6, 2008 in The Pegbox. The original album also included a smaller EP record with each Cremonese violin played with the same song, to avoid different material encumbering comparison, although, later LP releases did not necessarily include the bonus record (and my reissue does not). made much more recently than the Glory of Cremona so hopefully. benefits from state of the art recording equipment, not that there. is anything wrong with the quality of the recordings on the Glory. The State-of-Art recording equipment existed way back in 1960's, and the state-of-the-art has not moved forward since.
Gerard of Cremona (Latin: Gerardus Cremonensis; c. 1114 – 1187) was an Italian translator of scientific books from Arabic into Latin. He worked in Toledo, Kingdom of Castile and obtained the Arabic books in the libraries at Toledo.
