Crossroads is folk/R&B singer Tracy Chapman’s sophomore album, and followup to her 6x platinum self titled debut. Although she chose not to diversify her signature acoustic sound and layout, it was her first time working as a producer. She also collaborated with longtime associate David Kershenbaum for production. The lead promotional single for the album, Crossroads, debuted at n. on the Billboard Modern Rock charts and achieved heavy acclaim.
