Webern: String Quartet (1905) - Orchestrated by Christoph Poppen - String Quartet (1905) 03. . Bach: Cantata "Christ lag in Todesbanden", BWV 4 - 1. Sinfonia - Versus 1: Coro 04. The singing of the Hilliard Ensemble is powerfully affecting in the cantata and the playing of the Kammerorchester München is superb throughout. ECM's sound is first rate.
