For Montreal-based indie-rock band Half Moon Run, it was tour fatigue that stumped them. The band's acclaimed 2012 debut album Dark Days, written and recorded in their adopted hometown, came easily. Said vocalist, drummer and keyboardist Dylan Phillips recently: "The music was an honest reflection of our lives in Montreal. It was spontaneous, and the process was exciting. This time around though, after lugging their gear around the world on a neverending loop of tours, the band weren't sure who, what or where they were any more.

Half Moon Run. As a big fan of this band, I knew I had to go to the Vienna concert as soon as I found out they would be doing a European tour. I love the band so much, I actually came alone(!)from another country (4hr drive) just to see them. There is clearly no exterior, artificial production techniques when putting the album together as Devon is able to recreate his synonymous husky tones with a total ease. The instrumentals shine on 'Call Me in the Afternoon' whilst 'Full Circle' receives the largest cheer of the night as it has become a bonafide cult anthem in just a couple of years.
