Hungarian band Mörk play soul and funk-based music, enhanced with thoughtful lyrics, improvisation and other unique elements. In October 2018, their five-song EP The Death of Mörk was released, showing a more melancholic side to the band and containing songs about fear and death. By contrast, they then produced another concept EP entitled The Resurrection of Mörk, with more upbeat and uninhibited tunes, released in April. Showcasing both aspects and uniting the two Eps into one album, Mörk play a launch party at the A38 Ship on 21 April as part of the Budapest Spring Festival.
