Minneapolis native Teddy Morgan began playing guitar in his early teen years. As a singer and songwriter, Morgan was first influenced by Bob Dylan, but after hearing an album by Lightnin' Hopkins, he decided to pursue a straightahead blues track instead. Although he paid attention to Dylan's blues as well as the Allman Brothers and Jimi Hendrix, Morgan wanted to play blues full-time; but, like so many other younger players, he is influenced almost as much by blues-rock as he is by classic blues players like Hopkins
Teddy is the third album by R&B crooner Teddy Pendergrass, released on June 23, 1979. It included more "bedroom ballads," comparable to Marvin Gaye's Midnight Love. Two singles were released from the album: "Turn Off the Lights", which reached US Pop and on the R&B charts, and "Come Go With Me," which reached R&B. All tracks composed by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff; except where indicated.

Today, it seems like you need to have come from a broken home, have years of (failed) psychotherapy behind you, and a really bad haircut and clothes to make it in the music business. Which is what makes Lost Love and Highways so refreshing

Young, Pro-active and classically British, The Pistolas bring to the table disparate influences which when fused together manifest themselves as tight, feisty, rock & roll with no little amount of style that has already brought them acclaim whilst still unsigned. The NME says . he Pistolas have come up with the frankly mental idea of sounding like Hot Hot Heat playing Clash covers in a creche.
