Johnny Nash may be remembered by some for the reggae music he did in the early '70s and his hit "I Can See Clearly Now". Here though Jasmine Records focus on his early career with his first four albums all in glorious stereo plus a couple of singles. Includes 1957's hit, "A Very Special Love" and many other great standards. It's nice to know that in this day and age there are still discoveries to be made of great recordings that have been hidden away. Revealed is a dynamic singer of style and substance with the first album dedicated to romantic ballads like IMAGINATION, MY FOOLISH HEART and FOR ALL WE KNOW setting the low-key mood. THE QUIET HOUR has an inspirational theme with the inclusion of I BELIEVE, BLESS THIS HOUSE and THE EYES OF GOD amongst a dozen hymn/gospel pitched spiritual/sacred selections with their strength of meaning depending on the faith of the listener.
