The LeFevres, or The Singing LeFevres, were an American Southern gospel singing group, active for nearly 50 years in the middle of the twentieth century. The LeFevres were a family from Smithville, Tennessee, and their singing group centered on brothers Urias (1910–1979) and Alphus (1912–1988). As children, they sang with their sister Maude until she married, then their sister Omega (Peggy) until she married; their career as an ensemble began in 1921.

One of the greatest gospel singing groups EVER! . This song was written by Nancy Harmon and was one of the LeFevres biggest "hit" songs in 1972. It was recorded on the "New Sounds of The LeFevres" album. The "New Sounds" album was the first album recorded after Pierce left the group. Though this rec features Barbara Roach on the soprano, Barbara Dailey was the soprano you hear in the "New Sounds" record. Both do an excellent job.
