Graham Parker & The Rumour - Hey Lord, Don't Ask Me Questions Songtext. Crimson autograph is what we leave behind Everywhere where that man set foot, yeah A war monger's laughin' loud behind a painted face Throwing tit bits to the crowd, then blowin' up the place
In the three short years Graham Parker and his band, the Rumour, were signed to Vertigo Records, they released some of the best, most uplifting records to emerge at the time of the British New Wave scene. In 2011, the original line-up reunited after a 32-year break, to record a new album and continue to tour. All of their must-have recordings from the period 1976-1979 can be found in this collection.
